The City of Redding wishesto establish a contract with a qualified contractor to furnish and install the complete SGT-800 turbine exhaust to HRSG (approximately 10' diameter) inlet expansion joint soft parts on Unit 5 at the City of Redding Power Plant 17120 Clear Creek Rd Redding, CA Contractor shall furnish all equipment, material, and labor for the replacement of (1) Complete HRSG Inlet / CT Exhaust Expansion Joint Soft Parts Set on Unit 5 including: o Removal of existing flange hardware, match marking and removal of existing backing bars, removal of outer expansion joint. o Assembly, installation of 100% flange hardware, installation of pre bolster, inspection / repacking internal insulation directly under expansion joint, installation of flanged bolster assembly, installation of new outer expansion joint. o Installation of new backing bars, flat washers, lock washers, hex nuts and jam nuts. o Inspection of internal liner / stud condition and root cause analysis of current failures. o Contractor shall conform to the City of Redding safety policies including lock out/tag out, confined space, hot work, fall protection etc. o Contractor to supply T&M rates for any out of scope work that may be required.
