Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Harrison Township, Ohio. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
As of April 18, 2022, project was awarded to The Crawford Construction Co., Inc., awarded amount is $303,388.66. The Project consists of removing an existing steel bridge and constructing a pre-stressed concrete box beam bridge. Project is located on Caves Rd (TR 226), Harrison Township. Knox County, Ohio. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bid guarantees must meet the requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, Section 153.54. All bidders must be ODOT prequalified. All bidders must submit a DBE Utilization Plan with Formstack at time of bid submission. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of this project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. This is a prevailing wage project and is subject to Davis Bacon Rates. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities The estimated construction cost is $314,829.39, Three hundred fourteen thousand eight hundred twenty-nine and 39/100 dollars
