Saving Project...

Renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Neptune City, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a elderly care / assisted living facility.

The Form of Proposal shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Bidder on the outside, and addressed to the Neptune City Housing Authority. The envelope shall also indicate "Bid for Toilet Room and Laundry Room Renovations". All bids are required to be hand delivered to the Authority at the time and place set forth in paragraph one. The Authority will not accept any mailed bids, or bids which are delivered prior to the meeting. The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or withhold award for sixty (60) days after the date of opening of bids. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cash, or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, but not exceeding $10,000.00, as a guarantee that, in case the contract is awarded to the Bidder, they will, within ten (10) days thereafter, execute such contracts and furnish satisfactory Performance Bond as required by the Contract Documents. Upon failure to do so, such Bidder shall forfeit the deposit as liquidated damages. Each bid must also be accompanied by a Certificate of Consent of Surety from a bonding company licensed to do business in the State of New Jersey, guaranteeing that if the proposal of the bidder be accepted, the bonding company will furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in the full amount of the Contract Amount. Bidders shall comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127, P.L. 1999, c. 238 (NJSA 2:32-44).
