Site work for a water / sewer project in Sycamore, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
For the 2022 Sanitary Sewer Lining Project consisting of televising, cleaning, and lining of sanitary sewer and reinstatement of service laterals at various locations in Sycamore, Illinois. All proposals must be delivered to the Sycamore City's Clerk's office at 308 West State Street in Sycamore, Illinois, not later than the date and time herein specified. No bid security is required. No pre-proposal conference is scheduled. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive or not waive any informalities therein. DESCRIPTION OF WORK : • Work includes the lining of 8” and 18” diameter VCP sanitary sewer and reinstatement of laterals • The sewer is located in the middle of an existing street • Manhole Depths range from 3’ to 8’ • Local streets can be temporarily closed with proper traffic control and notice. IL Route 64 must remain open with proper traffic control and notice. • Bypass pumping can be completed to the immediate downstream manholes. • Mid-day dry weather flows are 10 gpm and less for 8” sewer and 50 gpm for the 18” sewer. • Multiple segments can be lined at one time. • No history of backups or blockages
