Site work for a water / sewer project in Folkston, Georgia. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Per the Civil Engineer "The city actually decided to table this project for the foreseeable future, and no awards were made. If they decide to move forward with it, it will be at a much later date and will be rebid." The work under this Contract will consist generally of the following: Storm drain system improvements, including traffic control, erosion control measures, and construction of approximately +- 2424 LF of 18" Cured in place pipe (CIPP) of the existing RCP storm drain, heavy cleaning and disposal of sand/debris, CCTV, and all appurtenances necessary to complete the job. All work on the Project must be completed within 120 consecutive calendar days of date of notice to proceed. No bid will be considered unless sealed and filed with Charlton County prior to the time set forth above, and accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, payable to the Charlton County, Georgia, for 10 percent of the amount of the bid; to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid be accepted and the bidder fail to enter promptly into a written contract and furnish the required Payment Bond and Performance Bond and Insurance Certificates. Bids arriving after the designated time will be returned unopened. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of bids. Charlton County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to overlook and/or disregard informalities or irregularities in the proposals.
