Furnish and deliver all materials, and to do and perform all work for the improvement of the project designated in accordance with the proposal requirements, conditions, and specifications . This project is part of LRIP CHID- Supplemental program. The county reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to accept the bid which is most advantageous to the county. The county reserves the right to add or delete projects/bid items from the bid to maintain their budget. Prevailing Wage Law. This project does not fall under the prevailing wage rate requirements. Contractor to give a two week notice when ready to start the project. Project must be completed no later than September 1, 2022. Failure to complete project on time will result in a $500 per day penalty per day of delay. Contractor will be given a chance to explain delays of the project. The penalty may be waived for extenuating circumstances. Contractor and Highway Commissioner will meet to discuss any delays in the completion of the project Scope of work CTH M - The work under this contract consists of adding 2" CABC to assist with pulverization of the existing roadway, shaping, final grading and compacting of existing roadway, placement of 4" X 30' of compacted hot mix asphalt surface, hauling and placing of a 4" X 5' gravel shoulder. This project begins at CTH N and proceeds north for 5.4 miles north to CTH K and includes the CTH K intersection. This section is approximately 28,512' in length. The work shall be executed under the requirements of the State of Wisconsin, Department of Transportation, Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, most current edition and according to the current year State of Wisconsin supplemental specifications and the special provisions attached. It is required that the contractor review the road and work to be completed with the Highway Commissioner or his designee so both parties have a clear understanding of the work to be completed under this proposal
