Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Mauston, Wisconsin. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This project was not awarded. The City plans to rebid this project in 2023. 2022 Northeast Street & Utility Reconstruction Project in the City of Mauston, WI, Juneau County includes roadway and utility improvements for Prospect Street, Grant Street, Jackson Street, E. Monroe Street, Madison Street, and Water Street. Proposed curb & gutter, sidewalk, curb ramps, asphalt roadway, and driveways will be installed. Roadway reconstruction will include removal of existing pavements, utilities, and utility structures and include installation of approximately: a. Asphalt Pavement - 13,00 tons b. Curb & Gutter - 7,400 LF c. Concrete Sidewalk and Driveways - 36,75000 SF 2. Pavement markings, signage, base aggregate, geotextiles, and all other surface restoration required to complete the project. 3. Existing 6" Water Main will be replaced with 8" Ductile Iron Water Main. Connections to existing main will be installed via live taps, connection to existing valves, and connections to existing pipes. Hydrants, tees, valves, and services will all be replaced as noted on the plans. Project includes approximately 3,000 lineal feet of watermain. 4. Existing Sanitary Sewer will be replaced and redundant existing manholes will be abandoned. Sewer main, manholes, and laterals will all be replaced as noted on the plans. Project includes approximately 2,600 lineal feet of sanitary sewer. 5. Proposed storm sewer, structures, and laterals will be installed as noted on the plans. Project includes approximately 600 lineal feet of storm sewer main. Storm sewer laterals will be installed to the right-of-way. Bid Alternate includes replacing ductile iron watermain for C900, PVC watermain. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. BIDDER is required to deliver the original certified check or bid bond within the 72 hours of bid opening. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
