Description: Campus Security Fencing For Hueneme High School Brief Scope: Provide a secured campus by installing new site fencing and gates. Scope includes demolition as required to complete scope of work. The project's estimated value is $1 million dollars. Contractor is required to be pre-qualified with the District for this value or greater to participate. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess one or more of the following State of California contractors' license(s): B. The Bidder's license(s) must remain active and in good standing throughout the term of the Contract. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to the Labor Code. Contract Documents will be available on or after the date and time of the mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit and may be downloaded from the District. Any bid that is submitted after this time shall be nonresponsive and will not be opened and reviewed. Any claim by a bidder of error in its bid after the bids are opened must be made in compliance with section 5100 et seq. of the Public Contract Code. Pursuant to Public Contract Code section 20111.6, only prequalified bidders will be eligible to submit a bid for contracts $1 million or more using or planning to use state bond funds. Any bid submitted by a bidder who is not prequalified shall be non- responsive and returned to the bidder. Moreover, any bid listing subcontractors holding C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43 or C-46 licenses who have not been prequalified, shall be deemed nonresponsive. All bids shall be on the form provided by the District. Each bid must conform and be responsive to all pertinent Contract Documents, including, but not limited to, the Instructions to Bidders. A bid bond by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the Oxnard Union High School District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, shall accompany the Bid Form and Proposal, as a guarantee that the Bidder will, within ten (10) calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award, enter into a contract with the District for the performance of the services as stipulated in the bid. Work to Commence April 11, 2022 Work Completion and Closeout October 08, 2022
