To perform the work required by this notice, the Contractor must possess a Class C-7 or C-10 License. Questions must be submitted, in writing to Deanna Rantz, Director of Purchasing via email, no later than the RFI deadline noted in the RFP. Each proposal must be accompanied by one of the following forms of bidder's security IN HARD COPY no later than the proposal due date and time: (1) a cashier's check made payable to the District; (2) a certified check made payable to the District; or (3) a bidder's bond executed by a California Admitted Surety as defined in Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120, made payable to the District in the form set forth in the proposal documents. Such bidder's security must be in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of such bidder's bid as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the proposed contract. Awarded company is required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds and insurance certificates. In the event that a bidder is awarded the contract and such bidder fails to enter into said contract or provide the necessary documents within ten (10) calendar days after notification of the award of the contract to bidder, said security will be forfeited. The Oxnard Union High School District shall be the sole judge of the quality of items offered and reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to accept or reject any one or more items of a proposal or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the proposals or in the solicitation process. No bidder may withdraw their proposal for a period of ninety (90) days after the proposal due date.
