Renovation and addition to an educational facility in St Catharines, Ontario. Completed plans call for the addition of a 4,929-square-foot, three-story above grade educational facility; and for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project involves renovating an interior office space of approximately 425m2 and a vestibule addition of approximately 33m2 that connects the Mackenzie Chown A Block with the Goodman School of Business building at Level 200 (ground floor). The interior project scope includes architectural, electrical, and mechanical modifications for new offices, multi-occupant spaces and corridors. The exterior scope involves selective removals, construction of steel framed vestibule, electrical and mechanical service installs (fed from existing sources), flooring, glazing and door installs, construction of concrete sidewalk and associated restoration. Phase 1 of the project, abatement and demolition, is underway. Anticipated completion is November 25, 2022.
