Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Poughkeepsie, New York. Conceptual plans call for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.
This project would rehabilitate the large south dock and provide permanent dock upgrades at Waryas Park. This project could be completed prior to the Waryas Shore Rehabilitation Project. While currently unfunded, the Waryas Dock Upgrades may be eligible for CFA grant funding. If funded, the project would require ~$75K for a condition study in 2024, $150K for design/permitting in 2025, and $1.25M for construction in 2027. This project is in included in the City of Poughkeepsie FY 2024-2028 CIP. As of February 7, 2024, information regarding a design team and the contractor selection has not been disclosed. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
