The project involves replacement of the existing 8" cast iron watermain beneath the intersection of NYS Routes 332 & 96 with approximately 600 LF of 14" HDPE and approximately 250 LF of 12" PVC watermain, valves, and hydrants. The 14" HDPE watermain and HDPE casing is designed to be directionally drilled through the bedrock at each NYSDOT road crossing. For a non-refundable fee of Ten Dollars ($10), interested firms may request and receive an Electric Download of the Bidding Documents. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. For a non-refundable fee, printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained electronically, If the documents are to be shipped, the Bidder must furnish Avalon with the Bidder's active UPS or Federal Express account number or pay Avalon for all shipping and handling costs. The Bidding Documents must be obtained through the Avalon Planroom in order to be considered a Plan Holder of record. Bidding Documents obtained from any other source are for examination only, are not considered complete and are not valid for bidding purposes. Attention of the bidders is particularly directed to the requirements of the conditions of employment to be observed and minimum Wage Rates to be paid under the Contract. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. The Town of Farmington, Ontario County, New York, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informalities, or to make an award to other than the low bidder. It further reserves the right to limit the amount of the award.
