Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Warren, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
The contract includes, but not limited to the following major items of work: Installation, maintenance, and removal of traffic protection devices associated with road closure and detour proposed for this project; Installation, maintenance, and removal of soil erosion and sediment control measures; Demolition and replacement of County Bridge No. K1104 with precast concrete box culvert with cast-in-place wingwalls while keeping Bridge K1105 open to local traffic; Demolition and replacement of County Bridge No. K1105 with precast concrete box culvert with cast-in-place wingwalls while keeping Bridge K1104 open to local traffic; Approach roadway reconstruction and installation of new beam guide rail and guide rail end terminals. Bidder shall submit with the bid a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, payable unconditionally to Somerset County Treasurer, along with a Certificate (Consent of Surety) with Power of Attorney for full amount of bid price from a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and that said Surety will furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in amounts of 100% of successful bidder's contract.
