Contract includes all work indicated in the drawings and specifications for General Contract #D005862 or "GC" including but not limited to all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the Lake Ontario Shoreline Stabilization / Restoration Project including: Mobilize to and prepare the site for the Work and at the completion of the Work to demobilize from the site completely and properly. Temporary facilities and controls and for proper execution of the Contract as delineated. Grade soils areas shown on the Contract Drawings which includes the cost for cut and fill work on site that does not create or require additional fill. Construction and installation of the cabled logs, coir mat, coir bed and coir twine as detailed in the contract drawings. Completely plant and install terrestrial (floodplain, riparian, and/or upland) plugs which includes soil preparation, fertilizer, plants, mulch, and watering in accordance. Completely plant and install #1 container plant shrubs which includes any necessary soil preparation, fertilizer, plants, mulch, and watering in accordance. Completely restore, seed, and plant the disturbed areas of the Project which includes any necessary soil preparation, fertilizer, seed, mulch, and watering in accordance. Areas shall be estimated by the Contractor in the Habitat Enhancement and Work Plan. Each bid must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a certified check, bank check, or bid bond in the amount of $10,000.00, Ten Thousand Dollars and 00/100. The estimate range for this project is: $198,130 - $268,050. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
