SCOPE: Plano Independent School District (Plano ISD) is seeking proposals to establish a competitive contract for the repair of tennis court surfaces. All vendors submitting proposals shall be established vendors whose primary business is the repair and maintenance of tennis courts. Vendor proposals shall include materials and labor needed to make repairs. TERM: The term of the contract will be (1) year from date of Board approval with the option for auto renewal for four (4) additional years, in one (1) year increments, providing the vendors remain in good standing with the District and both the District and vendors agree on all terms and conditions. At that time, if there are industry-wide increases or circumstances beyond your control that can be documented, we will consider price increases for the line items involved. This decision will be made by Plano ISD in its best interests at that time. ESTIMATED ANNUAL EXPENDITURE: The estimated expenditure for this contract for Plano ISD is approximately $150,000 per year. This amount may be exceeded by 25% annually. However, this estimate should not be construed to be a guarantee of either minimum or maximum since usage is dependent upon actual needs and available funding. GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS: 1. Contractor will furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and insurance required to complete the following work professionally and with skilled workmanship. 2. Contractor shall begin a project immediately upon notice (by purchase order) from Plano ISD or, upon date agreed to by contractor and Plano ISD personnel. 3. Contractor shall make every effort to protect property and work safely around students and staff. 4. Contractor shall guarantee all repair work for one (1) year on materials and labor. 5. Contractor shall make a preliminary inspection of all work before calling for inspection by Plano ISD staff. Each job will have a walk-through before accepting the job.
