Site work for a water / sewer project in Courtenay, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Courtenay invites tenders for C24-014, Puntledge Sewer Upgrade. The work will include the following: Installation of a gravity sewer main, force main, and three pre-packaged lift stations around Comox Rd, Old Island Highway and Lewis & Simms Parks. Work will generally include: Installation of a three pre-packaged lift stations (1 HP pumps) Installation of approximately 490 m of 450 mm sewer main Installation of approximately 410 m total of 50 mm sewer force main Installation of approximately 160 m total of 75 mm sewer force main Upgrade of existing sanitary services and connection to new sewer main Upgrade of existing water services and connection to existing water main Disconnect and cap existing sewer mains Decommissioning of existing sewer main crossing Puntledge river. Surface restoration of asphalt and boulevards Documents can be obtained from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca
