Questions Due Date: Feb 22nd 2022, 11:00 PM CST Intent to Bid Due Date: Mar 1st 2022, 2:00 PM CST Tarrant County College District (the "College") is requesting proposals from qualified firms for the Northeast Campus - NE VB Sewer Rehabilitation Project Milestones and Schedule Requirements: Substantial Completion is required no later than 12/13/2022, and Final completion (project 100% closed out) no later than 02/07/2023. Bidders shall contact the following individual with written questions regarding the examination of the site: Jorge Espinosa, Construction Purchasing Manager at jorge.espinosa@tccd.edu. TCCD reserves the right to award to a single firm, multiple firms, or no firm at all. Bid submission shall be accompanied by either an original cashier's check, certified check, or money order upon a state bank in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum RFP price, payable without recourse to the Tarrant County College District or an original bid bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company licensed to do business in the State of Texas. The payment bond and performance bond shall be in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total sum for all projects above $25,000 TCCD reserves the right to reject all bids submitted and waive any formalities and conditions. TCCD is not obligated to advise those firms that are not selected for an RFP. This project will replace approximately 3,500 linear feet of the existing sanitary sewer utilizing pipe bursting and an open trench. All manholes that are attached to this sewer line will need to be rehabbed. Compaction testing will be required to be provided by the Contractorfor all open trench work. Asphalt (including re-striping of any pavement), sidewalk, curb, irrigation, and landscape replacement/repairs will be provided by the Contractor. It is TCCDs goal that 32.9% of spending be directed to certified MWBE instead of 21.1% as stated in the RFP as the project is a special trade construction project. Please make sure your submittal complies with the revised 32.9% goal.
