This Invitation to Tender consists of the supply, delivery, and quality control inspection of 20 Aluminum Light Standards and 20 Light Standard Davits in the sizes and quantities described within Items 1 and 2 of this tender documents. Contract will be award to the lowest compliant bid which meet the requirements detailed within the attached Specifications for Items 1 and 2 of the tender documents. Prior to Contract award, the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure may consult with other owners and other departments and agencies of the Province of New Brunswick to obtain information on the Vendor's past product performance within the previous five (5) years. Results from the consultations that are unsatisfactory to the Department, in its sole and absolute discretion, will result in the disqualification of the Vendor's bid. The supplier SHALL submit with the tender, written certification that materials to be supplied meet the specified requirements. The supplier SHALL submit metric Shop Drawings which are to be signed and stamped by a registered Professional Engineer licensed to practice in the Province of New Brunswick. By submitting a bid to this Invitation to Tender, the Vendor agrees to conduct on-site visits to locations for quality assurance/quality control purposes as required. The Supplier SHALL deliver all materials to Department's Traffic Operations Supply Depot, 119 Currie Avenue, Fredericton New Brunswick on or before July 13th, 2022. Shipping charges MUST be included in pricing. The supplier SHALL advise the Department three days prior to the shipping date of their intent to deliver.
