This Tender consists of five (5) major job categories of drilling, sampling, instrumenting and testing of soil and rock for highway design purposes in various locations in the province of New Brunswick for the Department of Transportation & Infrastructure as per the attached Specification. The contract shall be for a TWO (2) year term, from April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2024 with the option to renew for TWO (2) additional ONE (1) year terms upon mutual agreement by both parties. This Tender is to establish a qualified list of service providers. Vendor bid(s) will be evaluated on price and on information provided in Section 16 & 17, Vendor information & Submission Form and multiple purchase orders will be awarded for each section (B,D,E,F,H). Note that sections 16 and 17 of the attached specifications must accompany the bid to be considered compliant. Prior to award, each proponent may be required to provide, two (2) reference contact information for whom the proponent has performed work similar to what is contemplated in this call for tenders within the previous five (5) years. Satisfactory reference checks will be completed by DTI and SNB and will partially form basis of award. Failure to submit satisfactory reference checks when requested, or reference checks that are deemed unsatisfactory will be basis for disqualification. Not with standing the evaluation criteria, the Province reserves the right to award to a single or multiple vendors based upon a combination of tendered price and consideration of other cost savings, whichever provides the best overall value to the Province. Best overall value will be determined at the sole discretion of DTI and all decisions are final. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
