Furnish all labor, material and equipment to mechanically dredge approximately 0-6,000 cubic yards of sand from the lake huron entrance of the black river canal and deposit dredged material waterward of lake huron's edge and no farther than the second sand bar within approximately 820-foot long area along conger street between holland avenue and 3470 conger street or along the approximately 1,250 feet long area at lakeside park, complete, as per the project specifications and in accordance with department of army and egle/mdeq permits. A certified check payable to the City of Port Huron, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company, in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid. No bid may be withdrawn for at least ninety (90) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. All bids must be submitted on proposal forms provided by the City of Port Huron for that purpose. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory performance, labor and materials bonds, and insurance certificates.
