The following policy regarding the submission of tenders and the tender opening procedures will be applicable for this project. Tenderers are requested to adhere strictly to the instructions concerning submission. (a)Respondents who wish to respond to this Tender Document must submit their response to the Town online using the Bids and Tenders platform on or before 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 Proposals must be submitted online using the bidding system on Bids and tenders. Electronics bid submissions only shall be received by the BiddingSystem. Hardcopy submissions are not permitted. (b)Tenders received later than the time specified will not be accepted. (c)Digital submissions shall contain all documents titled: 1."Form of Tender", pages FT-1 to FT-8 including addenda if applicable 2."Tender Deposit", $10,000 deposit in the form of a cheque or bid bond Digital submissions will be received by the Town Clerk - Colleen Hutt at the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. (d)Tenders will be opened at the Clerks Department of the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake immediately following quotation closing and reviewed by the Parks and Recreation Department. Due to COVID-19 social-distancing and group gathering protocols, firms submitting tenders will NOT be permitted to attend the tender opening. A summary of the total tender prices submitted will be sent to the tendering firms.
