Contract Completion Date: Friday, October 7, 2022 The Village has entered into an intergovernmental agreement to receive grant funding from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for this project. An overall Business Enterprise Program (BEP) utilization goal of 25% has been determined with 20% of the grant dollars going to minority-owned business enterprises (MBEs) and 5% of the grant dollars going to women-owned business enterprises (WBEs). The individual MBE/WBE utilization goals are based on the availability of certified vendors to perform the anticipated direct subcontracting opportunities of the Utilization Plan (UP). The goals established for this project may be satisfied through utilization of architects/engineers, consultants, suppliers, or subcontractors. Additionally, the Contractor shall meet any and all goals established for the Illinois Works Apprenticeship Initiative or seek an appropriate waiver as provided by law. The Initiative provides that at least 10% of all hours completed by prevailing wage employees in each separate prevailing wage classification shall be completed by apprentices.
