Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in New Brighton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Remove and replace existing sidewalk along 6th Street and 2nd Avenue around the New Brighton Fire Department parking lot. This will include replacing and extending driveways, replacing an ADA curb ramp. All questions and answers will be posted to the bid pages on the website. All questions and requests for clarification must be received no later than five (5) business days prior to the anticipated date of receipt of Bids. MBE, WBE, and Section 3 businesses are encouraged to apply. Standard contract provisions of the Department of HUD, Act of 1968, as amended, and US Department of Labor for CDBG apply to this project, including Federal Prevailing Wages rates, Civil Rights, EEO, Federal Public Works, Affirmative Action, Section 3 Requirements, and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, EO 11246, 11625 together with all Standard Provisions of CDBG Programs. The County of Beaver, Pennsylvania, reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities, and to award Contracts in its best interest. WBE: 6.9% MBE: 6.3%
