Renovation of a municipal facility in Hanford, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Completion Date: Within 30 Days After Receipt of Order If further information is need regarding this bid, contact: Art Perez or Evan Jones Purchasing@countyofkings.com The County may purchase an individual item or combination of items, whichever is to the best interest of the County, provided also that a bidder(s) may specify that the County's acceptance of one item shall be contingent upon the County's acceptance of one or more additional items submitted in the same bid. Remove and dispose of (3) 5 ton Carrier condensers and (3) Carrier 90% furnaces and (3) evaporator coils. Install (3) new Carrier 5 ton condensers, (3) new Carrier 90% furnaces, and (3) new Carrier evaporator coils. New units will be 14 seer. The contractor will reuse the existing flue and air intake pipe. If the flue pipe and air intake needs replacing or modified, the contractor will modify, supply, and install new pipping. The contractor will provide a new filter rack installed inside of the new furnace. The contractor is to fabricate or modify ductwork to accommodate the new furnace and new evaporator coil. The contractor is responsible for modifying or replacing any refrigerant piping. The contractor is to flush, purge, and reuse the existing refrigerant line if possible. The contractor will leak check the existing refrigerant lines. If the existing refrigerant line set has any leaks, the contractor will locate leak and repair the leaks. The contractor will remove the existing insulation on the line set and re-insulate the line set with new insulation. If the new condenser will not fit on the existing pad mount, the contractor is to supply and install a new pad mount that will fit the new condenser. The contractor is to provide a (3) new fusible disconnects rated for the new condenser. If main breaker needs to be sized different from the existing breaker, the contractor will supply and change out the breaker to the correct size. If wiring needs to be changed, the contractor will provide and install the new wiring The contractor will supply any electrical fittings and conduit. If there are any building penetrations made by the contractor, the contractor is responsible for sealing them. The contractor will install a new gas flex line for the new furnace. The contractor is responsible for any damage caused during removal and replacement of the unit. The contactor shall follow all title 24 building codes pertaining to this job. The contractor is responsible for any drawings or paper work required to obtain a permit. The contractor is responsible for obtaining a building permit with the Kings County Community Development Agency. No variation from this scope of work is accepted unless expressed written permission has been approved. The Contractor is responsible for liability insurance, additional insured and waiver of subrogation for workers compensation all listing County of Kings, its officers, employees & agents. 1400 W. Lacey Blvd. Hanford CA 93230. The Contractor is responsible for any cost associated with obtaining these insurance certificates. The project will be done on normal working days and hours. Monday thru Friday 7am to 4pm. Contractor will be responsible for clean up of all trash and debris related to this project on a daily basis and upon completion.
