The purpose of this Request for Qualifications is to pre-qualify and contract with firms capable of providing general construction services for small projects (each project not to exceed $200,000). The District is requesting sealed qualifications from licensed General Contractors to provide construction and/or repair services for small projects. For the purpose of this RFQ small projects are defined as less than $200,000. The projects will include but not be limited to electrical, roofing, plumbing, and general building renovation and remodeling as well as other specialty trade and general projects. Due to the varied nature of the projects that will be completed under these contracts, the District will only accept responses from licensed General Contractor firms. The District will only accept submissions from firms demonstrating the ability to provide planning, design and construction management services, reports (may include as-builts or drawings), and consultation services for each project. The questions with answers will be posted online on February 15, 2022, by 5:00 p.m. Questions cannot be answered via telephone or other verbal communication. Respondents are required to complete and submit one (1) original and one digital (on a thumb drive) copy of their Statement of Qualifications. The volume of information to provide is up to the Firm's discretion. The Statement of Qualifications shall include sufficient information to enable the District to evaluate the Firm; including, but not limited to: 1. Ability to stay within budget 2. Ability to complete small projects in a timely manner 3. Qualified sub-contractors Responder shall submit a document that illustrates the Firm's understanding of the work requested, which includes the items below. - Qualifications: List at least three (3) projects of a similar nature specified in this Scope of Work over the past two (2) years. - List shall include a brief description of the project, name, and address of the company the services were performed for, and a contact person and phone number of the same companies. - Current Florida General contractors license and proof of insurance. Insurance limits are listed below in section Insurance requirements. - List of qualified sub-contractors that the firm will most likely use for District projects.
