Site work for a water / sewer project in Bloomsdale, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Scope of Work includes construction of approximately 2,100 lineal feet of 6-inch diameter PVC water main, 65 lineal feet of 6-inch diameter restrained joint PVC installed by directional boring operation, 75 lineal feet of 12-inch diameter bore and steel encasement with 85 lineal feet of 6-inch diameter restrained joint PVC carrier pipe, 1,775 lineal feet of 8-inch diameter PVC water main, 150 lineal feet of 8-inch diameter restrained joint PVC installed by directional boring operation, associated fire hydrants, valves, fittings, complete service connection replacement (Water Meter, Meter Setter, Meter Pit with Frame and Lid, Service Line, etc.) and other incidental items and work described in the Project Manual, or reasonably inferable therefrom. A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Bloomsdale anticipates issuing notice to proceed in April, 2022. The City of Bloomsdale hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
