The City of Granby requests qualifications for a water preliminary engineering report/study to focus primarily on an aging distribution system with unacceptable levels of unaccounted for water loss, elimination of dead-end piping, faulty hydrants and valves, along with areas of low pressure and finally, storage volume in reference to peak and average day demands for proposed water system improvements. Information provided to the City must include at a minimum: The specialized experience and technical competence of the firm with respect to the type of services required; The capacity and capability of the firm to perform the work in question including specialized services, within the time limitations fixed for the completion of the project; The past record of performance of the firm with respect to such factors as control of costs, quality of work, and ability to meet schedules; References from previous clients of related work with the firm within the past five years. Proof of compliance with E-Verify Requirements. The firm will be selected based on the above qualifications. Once the most qualified firm is selected, a cost for the preliminary engineering report/study will be negotiated.
