FOR A ONE-TIME CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF A PLAYGROUND SYSTEM AT THE MATTERNVILLE PRESCHOOL: 3638 N. ATHERTON STREET, PORT MATILDA, PA 16870. General Description: The CIU 10 is seeking to purchase and install a natural outdoor play area designed for children ages 3-5. The materials are to be made from natural materials (logs, sand, etc.) and/or support play in a natural environment (water, sand, logs, musical play, etc.). The playground may include the following items or similar play areas: Log tunnel Log benches, tables, seats Log posts Water tables/play areas Sand areas Outdoor chalkboards Outdoor mirrors Natural material sun shades Natural material outdoor musical instruments or play areas This proposed project is funded by the CIU 10, a public regional service agency serving Centre, Clearfield and Clinton counties. Therefore, laws, guidelines, and procedures must be in accordance with public school law including clearance for staff doing onsite work.
