Base Bid: Single story 3,350 s.f. addition to the existing building to add new instructional bays. Work includes cast in place concrete, pre-cast hollow concrete planks, pre-cast architectural concrete, structural steel, cold formed metal framing, excavation, utilities, and paving adjacent to the addition. Openings include FRP door, storefront windows and sectional doors.Alternate No. 1 - Interior Renovations: Remodel of 18,500 s.f.of the north end of the Diesel Center. Work includes cast-in-place concrete, pre-cast hollow planks, CMU masonry, gypsum board assemblies. Openings include hollow-metal openings, storefront openings, sectional doors, and coiling overhead doors. Finishes include paint, solid plastic fabrications, tile, sealed concrete, acoustic ceiling, linear metal ceiling, ceramic tile, fluid applied flooring, resilient flooring. Building services include plumbing, electrical power, data, fire protection sprinklers. Alternate No. 2 - HVAC Remodel: Remodel HVAC for areas included in Base Bid & Alternates No. 1 & 3. Work includes supply and install new equipment including, vehicle exhaust system, direct fired make-up air, ductless split system cooling units, fuel fired furnaces, direct fired make-up air, heating coil replacement, and ductwork.Alternate No. 3 - Exterior Upgrades: Remodel approximately 5,800 s.f. of eastern facade to add cold formed metal framing parapet, mineral wool insulation, furring, metal wall panel system. Work includes modifying existing garage door openings, new sectional doors, new downspouts. Work includes paving, bollards not included in the base bid. Work includes painting existing EIFS surfaces at north and west sides of the building.Lump-sum Bids will be received on a SINGLE PRIME CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE ENTIRE WORK including plumbing, mechanical and electrical work.
