The Kent County Purchasing Division on behalf of Kent City is soliciting bids for parking lot improvements at 34 South Main Street, Kent City, MI 49330. The project is funded by Kent County Community Development Block Grants ("CDBG"). Project to be completed within a continuous five (5) week construction period that may occur any time between the award of contract and June 30, 2022 including a one (1) week possible interruption for archeological surveying of the subgrade due to the potential historical significance of the site. Inquiries Deadline Date & Time (local) 2/16/2022, 2 PM Each contract over $50,000 must be accompanied by a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each payable to the Owner (County of Kent) and each in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the contract price with a corporate surety approved by the funding agency, for the faithful performance of the contract.
