The West Springfield Central Maintenance Department, in accordance with M.G.L. c. 30, 39M invites quotes from Landscape Contractors for Field repairs at the West Springfield Middle School William Quigley Varsity Field, 31 Middle School Drive, West Springfield, MA, 01089. Work to be completed is based on the "Beacon Athletics Ballfield Dimensions and Reference Guide 3.0". The contractor under this work shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete all work. Work included The work includes, but is not limited to the following: A. Verify layout/infield dimensions for 90' Diamond. B. Sod cut and remove existing infield grass areas. C. Remove weed and grass growth from existing infield skin and re grade accordingly. D. Install up to a 2" layer of title five sand to achieve sub grade for a 2" layer of "Read Custom Soils" native infield premium clay mix to achieve finish grade. E. Re sod infield and areas of re-grading.
