Renovation of a municipal facility in Sanford, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The Seminole County Purchasing and Contracts Division requests interested parties to submit formal sealed bids/proposals for the below referenced solicitation. Seminole county seeks a qualified window coverings contractor, to provide and install suitable window coverings/ privacy blinds to the exterior perimeter and interior office space divider windows within the building. Each bidder should provide a proposal for vertical blind materials and labor, along with sample literature of the proposed products a bid is submitted for. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring the correct number of windows are accounted for and that each window dimension is accurate per location prior to ordering. If any are missed or not properly sized for the opening, the contractor will replace that unit at their own expense, which will include any additional shipping expense incurred. The county reserves the right to evaluate the products submitted for the bid process and determine which product is best suited for the building regarding, overall quality, mechanical operation, reliability, user-friendliness, color options available, and above all total cost. Some of the interior office areas have existing metal blinds which are worn and or broken. These will need to be removed and discarded by the awarded contractor. Installation of the window coverings will need to be done on weekends only. Contractors will have access to the building's interior both Saturday and Sunday from 7 am to 5 pm. All trash related to the project will be removed and discarded by the contractor, leaving the areas affected in the same condition they were found in, prior to work commencement. This includes any drywall or paint damage that occurs during the installation process. It should be noted that the exterior windows are new high impact-resistant windows to 150mph winds +/-. Any damage caused by the contractor to these windows and or frames at any time during the installation process will be their responsibility to correct at their own expense. Contractors will provide a two-year warranty on all materials and labor, in the event any of the window coverings should fail whether, by faulty manufacturing, or improper installation methods, The contractor will repair or replace the window coverings at their own expense regardless of time and material costs.
