Site work and paving for a road / highway in Downers Grove, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of 03/28/2022 This project has been awarded to K-five Construction in the amount of $2,689,352.56. This project consists of pavement removal and replacement, leveling binder, hot-mix asphalt surface course, curb and gutter removal and replacement and all related work. Project covers approximately 5 miles of streets. Prospective bidders must supply a valid Certificate of Eligibility, as issued by the Illinois Department of Transportation, with pre-qualification for "003 HMA Plant Mix." The Village Council reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids/proposals, to waive technicalities and to accept or reject any item of any bid/proposal. No pre-bid meeting.
