Perform quarterly testing and inspection of various Rhode Island college sprinkler and standpipe systems plus repairs and the interconnection to the fire alarm system. Must provide a fire alarm technician and/or a sprinkler technician for testing. Vendor is to supply, repair and/or replace those components to be found defective in accordance with NFPA# 13 system. The testing specified is required to comply with the RI Fire Code and NFPA# 13 Note: quarterly pricing excludes testing of fire pumps and backflow preventers. Note: monthly pricing to run fire pumps according to NFPA codes. Bid proposals that are not received by the Division of Purchases by the bid proposal submission deadline for whatever reason will be deemed late and will not be considered. The submission time will be determined by the time clock in the Division of Purchases. Postmarks will not be considered proof of timely submission.
