Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Somerville, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The scope of the project includes removal of current parking lot and construction of curb, pavement, sidewalk, traffic paint, signage and appurtenances associated with parking lot improvements. Bidder shall submit with the bid a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000, payable unconditionally to Somerville Borough Treasurer, along with a Certificate (Consent of Surety) with Power of Attorney for full amount of bid price from a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and that said Surety will furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in amounts of 100% of successful bidder's contract. Mayor and Borough Council of the Borough of Somerville reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in the proposal received and to accept the bid in which in their judgment will best serve the interest of the Borough. Bidders shall comply with the requirements of PL 1975, Chapter 127.
