Renovation of an educational facility in Davis, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Target Contract Amount: $78,000,000 Estimated Contract Time: 1,095 days The Work shall include all design work, labor, material, tools, equipment, excavation, shoring, testing, inspection, commissioning and all necessary general conditions that may be reasonably inferred from the Contract Documents to provide all Design Work and Construction Work for: the seismic corrections, mechanical improvements, ADA improvements, hazardous material abatement, and fire and life safety improvements for (5) existing buildings on campus. Buildings will remain occupied during construction. Scope as follows: Voorhies Hall (1959): Seismic improvements to an existing cast-in-place concrete structure to include concrete shear walls and foundation reinforcements. Mechanical scope to include air handler replacements. ADA improvements to include pathway improvements and restroom upgrades. Site work to include parking lot reconfiguration, courtyard replacement, and additional bicycle parking. Fire safety scope to include fire alarm upgrades. Building exterior is to be repainted. Proposal Security in the amount of 10% of the lump sum price proposal, excluding alternates, shall accompany each proposal. Prospective proposers desiring to be prequalified are informed that they will be subject to and must fully comply with all of the proposal conditions including 100 percent payment and 100 percent performance bonds
