Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Aurora, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The Project scope consists of the removal of the existing rubber surface and installing a new Seal-Flex rubber surface on the athletic track and field event areas. Bid security, in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check or certified check, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid shall be submitted with the bid. Performance, Labor and Material Payment Bonds, each equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Amount and acceptable Certificate of Insurance, will be required from the successful bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in bidding procedures and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the School District. The Contract is subject to the requirements of the Equal Employment Practices Commission and the Illinois Human Rights Act (HRA) Illinois Revised Statues, Ch. 69, Par. 1-101, et. seq." (Including the requirement that every party to a public contract shall have adopted written sexual harassment policies, P.A. 87-1257).
