Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Basile, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

Contractor to provide labor and materials to repair the existing timber bridge located on Vie Terre Beau Road, Structure No. 030444. Repairs to consist of: 1. Remove and replace 137 - 3" x 12" x 20' deck boards 2. Replace as needed 45 - 6" x 12" x 20' stringers 3. Add 274 linear feet of 6" x 8" felloe guard 4. Repair or replace timber back wall and wing wall planks at abutment #1 All necessary nails, hardware, machinery and supervision to be provided by Contractor. All signs to be provided by Acadia Parish Police Jury, as well as, closing of roads and necessary notifications. Contractor will dispose of unsalvageable bridge materials. The right is reserved by the Police Jury to reject any and all bids or to accept any bid(s) which in the opinion of the Jury will be to the best interest of the Parish of Acadia, also the Police Jury reserves the right to cancel contract if in the opinion of the Jury materials are not available within a reasonable time. All bids must be plainly marked on the outside of the envelope: BID FOR VIE TERRE BEAU ROAD, STRUCTURE NO 030444. And mailed to the Acadia Parish Police Jury, PO Box A, Crowley, LA 70527-6001, Hand delivered to 505 NE Court Circle, Crowley, LA 70526 or by electronic bid. Bids not in accordance to specifications shall be rejected.
