The existing roofing membrane and related flashings shall be removed, and new roof assembly installed in strict accordance with Florida Building Code - 7th Edition (2020) Florida Building Code, ASCE7-16 guidelines and manufacturers specifications. All bids shall include Florida Product Approval assembly numbers included with bid for proposed roofing system. The roofing bid shall be a lump sum to include all necessary additional wood blocking if required, raising of HVAC curbs and flashings for a complete system. New insulation system (minimum of 1/4"/ft tapered to be determined by proposer) shall be installed to provide positive drainage of roofing system. All roof drains shall be water tested to ensure proper drainage and no obstruction with new roof drain inserts installed as recommended by proposed roofing manufacturer. Roof penetration flashing details will be in strict accordance with the proposed roofing manufacturer to achieve a 20-year material and labor warranty. All raising of existing roof curbs and roof penetrations to meet code flashing height restrictions shall be included in roofing bid. Additional pads should be installed to account for foot traffic for HVAC and other roof services. The City of Temple Terrace is seeking bids from a qualified vendor who shall perform removal and replacement of the roof of City Hall. The submitted price will be a guaranteed maximum price for all work.
