The Long Beach Water Department (LBWD) is requesting quotes for packaged heat hot water system pre-purchase for the GWTP HVAC Replacement Project in the City of Long Beach, California Notice of Intent to Award Will Be Posted on Planet Bids Under the Bid Invitation Once a Equipment Supplier Has Been Selected. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a cashier's or a certified check, or bidder's bond, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%). The successful bidder will be required to furnish prior to award of the Contract, within five calendar days after selection by Long Beach Water Department and acceptance of the Bid, a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Total Bid Price If the Contractor fails to meet the delivery schedule, LBWD shall deduct the sum of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per calendar day for each order that does not meet the delivery schedule, as liquidated damages and not as a penalty for breach.
