Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Bonifay, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project consists of the rehabilitation of an approximate 4,000 square-foot commercial parking area. The project scope includes underground electrical, minimal landscaping and sidewalk improvements along a state highway. Project duration is 60 days for substantial completion with an additional 30 days for final completion. Contractors bidding on the project shall have a minimum 5 years' experience successfully completing projects of similar size, nature and complexity. The project is located in Bonifay, FL northeast of the SR 79 and Pennsylvania Avenue intersection. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The bid will be awarded at the following council meeting. All Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked: Sealed Bid: City of Bonifay RIF Downtown Commercial Parking Rehabilitation" Point of Contact/Project Representative will be Thomas Brannon, Dewberry and can be reached at 850.354.5191, Fax 866.557.0076, or by e-mail at tbrannon@dewberry.com. All bidders shall comply with all applicable state and local laws concerning licensing, registration, and regulations of contractors doing business in Florida. The City shall award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; provided however, the City reserves the right to award the contract to a bidder who is not the lowest responsive and responsible bidder if the City determines in its reasonable discretion that another bid offers the City a better value based upon the reliability, quality of service, or product of such other bidder.
