The award of this bid shall establish a contract for the period beginning 7/1/2022 or on its approval by SBBC, whichever is later and continuing through three (3) years from the date of commencement. Bids shall not be considered for a shorter period of time. Items shall be ordered on an as-needed basis. If only one bid is received, the term of the contract may be reduced to one year. Vendor written questions due on or before 5:00 p.m. ET, Wednesday, February 9, 2022. Any questions regarding this ITB should be addressed to me, in writing via e-mail to edgar.lugo@browardschools.com. No other School Board staff member should be contacted in relation to this ITB All bidders must be Pre-Qualified by the School Board of Broward County, Florida for the type of work specified herein at the time bids are opened. Bid bonds, when required, shall be submitted with the bid in the amount specified in Special Conditions. Bid bonds shall be returned to non-Awardees. After acceptance of the bid, SBBC shall notify the Awardee to submit a performance bond and certificate of insurance in the amount specified in Special Conditions. Upon receipt of the performance bond, the bid bond shall be returned to the Awardee The School Board of Broward County (SBBC) reserves the right to reject any bid that fails to comply with these submittal requirements.
