The construction of the Farleigh Lake Dam & Shingle Creek Diversion Upgrades Project in Penticton, BC. The construction works span over two separate project sites, the Shingle Creek Diversion and the Farleigh Lake Dam. Works for the Farleigh Lake Dam Upgrade include the raising of the earthen Dam by one meter, construction of a new spillway & spillway chute, replacement of the existing low-level outlet intake structure and pipe, new riprap protection and filter drain for the dam. Works for the Shingle Creek Diversion Upgrade include the installation of a new concrete diversion structure and weir complete with sluice gate and overflow channel. Downstream works on the Shingle Creek diversion include rip rap and erosion protection along with CSP culvert and concrete pipe installation. Documents can be obtained from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca.
