The contractor shall perform landscape maintenance services for grounds located at 1 Medical Center Drive, Clarksburg, WV 26301.
Scope of Work Contractor shall visit the site every 2 weeks at a minimum. Mow lawn; Contractor will maintain grass height between 1 to 4 inches depending on the type of grass. The height is a guideline for a neat and professional appearance.
* Kentucky Blue Grass, St. Augustine - 2 to 3 in.
* Tall Fescue - 2.5 to 3.5 in.
* Bermuda Grass - 1 to 1.5 in.
* Zoysia Grass - 1 to 1.5 in. Perform edging of all sidewalks, driveways and curbs; Edging shall include removal of vegetation from cracks in sidewalks, driveways, and curbs within .5 inch of the edged surface and to a depth of 2.0 inches. o Perform trimming of grass around all trees, shrubs, buildings, poles, etc. to height of adjacent mowed lawn; o Remove debris, including trash, cigarette butts, leaves and limbs to include all VA owned parking lots/structures; o Remove weeds and apply weed killer as needed. o Contractor shall check in with Facilities upon arrival on site to request access to fenced in areas. Contractor shall prune all shrubs, vines, bushes and trees once per month to: o Direct and encourage plant growth in desired direction; o Remove dead and unsightly growth; o Maintain a neat and attractive appearance. Contractor shall repair minor damages and bare spots to lawn as needed. Contractor shall remove fallen leaves. Contractor is responsible for providing all equipment and fuels needed to complete the work. Important Notes: All personnel are required to wear a protective mask when entering buildings, and screenings. If the visit takes place outdoors masks aren't required at this time. No questions
