This project involves the replacement of existing water main on High Street, Martha Street, Mary Street and Lincoln Street in Duncannon Borough. The base bid will include the replacement of existing main and installation of new 8" DIP. Bid alternates for the increase of main size to 10", additional paving and the elimination of a portion of the work are requested. The work to be performed consists of all the labor, material, equipment, layout, disposal, and all other incidental costs required to complete the work. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates will apply to this contract. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.
