Deadline for Questions: March 29th, 2022 at 5:00 PM This project involves the demolition of the existing structures located at 18 - 28 North Market Street in Duncannon Borough. The work to be performed consists of all the labor, material, equipment, layout, disposal, and all other incidental costs required to complete the work. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids. Contractor shall furnish all materials, implements, machinery, equipment, tools, supplies, transportation, labor and supervision required to construct the facilities as shown on the contract drawings and specified herein. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to proceed with the work in the manner and within such limitations as may be prescribed by the Engineer. This contract includes, but is not limited to installation of the following, equipment being provided by Contractor: 1. Placement of erosion and sediment controls; 2. Appurtenances as specified herein and as indicated on the drawings; 3. Maintenance and Protection of Traffic, including short term and long term traffic controls, signage, and flaggers as appropriate; 4. Installation, maintenance and removal of erosion and sediment control measures as required; 5. Final restoration, including all stone areas, pavement curb, sidewalk, and other items; 6. Removal and hauling of excavated material; 7. Material, compaction and acceptance testing; and 8. General Conditions of the Contract. Bid award is anticipated at the April 19, 2022 Borough Council meeting with Notice to Proceed to follow about 3 weeks later after contracts are executed and bonding and insurance provided.
