2022 Bituminous Seal Coat on various roads in the Borough of Tremont, Schuylkill County as follows: 8,359 SY of Double Bituminous Seal Coat using a Polymer Modified Emulsion and #8 stone with 1.0% loss by wash. All materials must meet PENNDOT Publication 408 Specifications and Standards. For the 2022 Bituminous Seal Coat project the Bidders need to be PENNDOT prequalified. Bidders should review the propose work with the Municipality. For further information contact Jim Scheibley, Roadmaster at 570-449-3123, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid made payable to Tremont Borough. The successful bidders for both contracts will be required to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the awarded amount of their individual contract amount within 20 days of the award of the contract. The Borough Council of Tremont reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and also to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interested of the Borough.
