Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Tremont, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work will include, but is not limited to, earthwork, site preparation, furnish and installation of playground equipment, furnish and installation of a pavilion including concrete slab and foundations, macadam accessible parking areas, stormwater facilities, landscaping, finished grading and seeding, and the implementation and maintenance of erosion and sediment pollution control measures. A certified check or Bid Bond payable to or naming as Obligee Tremont Borough in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Bid must be submitted with the Bid as a guarantee that in the case the Contract is awarded the successful Bidder will execute the Contract and furnish all Bonds as may be required. The Bid envelope must be sealed and clearly marked, "Bid for Tremont Borough Park - Playground Improvement Project," and must also bear the name and address of the Bidder. Two copies of the Bids shall be provided, one (1) original and one (1) copy. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. The contractor shall also comply with Act 127 of 2012. Tremont Borough Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, to waive any informality or bidding irregularities, to delete or reduce any Bid Item, and to award the Contract as may be deemed by Tremont Borough Council to be in their best interest. No Bidder may withdraw his or her Bid within sixty (60) days after the actual opening thereof. SCOPE OF WORK A. Under this Section of Specifications the Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, and equipment required to perform all erosion and sediment pollution controls.
