2025 Road Program SEALED PROPOSAL will be accepted for the 2025 Road Program for the following work on Middle Creek Road and Union Street 1,878 SY of 11 1/2" Depth Milling 183 SY of 4 1/2 "Depth Milling 560 Tons of 6" Depth 2A Subbase 483 Tons of 25.0mm Base Course 187 Tons of 9.5mmWearing Course All materials must meet PENNDOT Publication 408 Specifications and Standards. For the "2025 Road Program" project the Bidders do not need to be PENNDOT prequalified. Proposals must be on forms provided by the Borough. For further information contact Jim Scheibley, Road master at 570-449-3123, Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages apply to this project. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid made payable to Tremont Borough. The successful bidders will be required to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the awarded amount of their individual contract amount within20 days of the award of the contract. The Borough Council of Tremont reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and also to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interested of the Borough.
