Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Evansville, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The project consists of retrofitting 35 green infrastructure sites across the city of Evansville to incorporate actuated valves, water level sensors, and control panels to eliminate the need for manual operations. This project will include installation of New flanged plug valves with actuators; Control Panels for single and double actuators; Level sensors; New overflow manholes and piping; New poles, power drops and meters; Electrical conduits; Connections for the Cherry Street rain gardens; Asphalt, brick, and/or concrete pavement/sidewalk repair ; Traffic control and signage. Work shall also include all supervision, equipment, traffic control, granular backfill, pavement restoration (milling included), flushing, disinfecting, testing and all appurtenances necessary to complete the work shown in the Drawings and Specifications. All work must be ready for satisfactory and continuous operation, in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications. The Evansville Water and Sewer Utility further reserves the right to waive informalities, and to award the contract to the lowest and most responsible bidder (or bidders), all to the advantage of the Evansville Water and Sewer Utility, or to reject all Proposals. Owner MBE: 12% WBE: 7%
